DOLPHINS SWIM TEAM SETS TO RETURN IN SUMMER 2025

Informational meeting set for May 28

The City of Bloomington’s Parks & Recreation department will host an informational meeting for the Dolphins Swim Team program on Wednesday, May 28 from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the O’Neil Aquatics Center located within O’Neil Park at 1515 West Chestnut Street in Bloomington, Illinois.

This is a fun and instructional program, led by head coach Robby Pratt, for both beginners and experienced swimmers. The Swim Team is open to boys and girls of all ages between 5-18. This program offers instruction and conditioning, planned and supervised by qualified coaches according to each youth’s ability level. All members must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke to participate on the team.

All practices and home meets are held at O’Neil Aquatics Center. Every team member participates in each Dual Meet as well as the Twin City Swim Conference meet. Dual swim meets are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with the season ending Conference meet held on Saturday, July 19.
